Have to hand it to them, this year's Hari Keusahawan was off the hook. Heck, last years' was like a graveyard compared to this years. With musics, dances, foods, games (both physically and electronic ;D) and especially haunted houses, this year's Hari Keusahawan was a blast!
I didn't take much pictures cause I was pretty busy the whole day helping out Santosh and Cheng Heng with their DJ booth. Yes, 5 Science 2 had a DJ booth, with our experience DJ, DJ Blaack. What did we do? With courtesy from DJ Blaack's DJ equipments, we played loads of musics. We had song dedications, with RM1 of your coupon, you can choose one song to play it out loud. We also offer to help other stalls to promote for a reasonable price of RM2.
Business was huge and heck, I didn't even have time to spend any of my coupons nor eat anything. In the end, I just gave all my coupons for my brother to lay waste on it. Besides the DJ booth, 5 Science 2 also had another stall that sells foods and drinks. Mainly burgers, hotdogs, orange juice and lychee juice.
Our class wasn't like other classes that had posters or fliers to promote their stalls. We only had a few cardboards to promote it. So, I decided to make some models as an asset to promote the stall. =D
By using loads of kitchen rolls, toilet rolls, newspapers, straws, cellophane tapes and P.V.A glue. I've made a model of burger and hotdog to promote my class' stall. Yup, you didn't read wrong, I did made them.
I didn't color them. I left the coloring work to Azila and Matthew. Was lazy to color anyway =P. Besides, I have two reasons for not coloring. One; all of my water colors are dried up. Two; feeling not enough, I made another model to promote the food that my class sells.
Name one cartoon where making burgers in underwater plays a role in it.
BINGO, that's right...
Spongebob Squarepants.
Dang, making Spongebob was far most the hardest work I've ever done. I've spent exactly four days and nights to finish this. Working from afternoon till four in the morning. Through the whole night, I spent hours using the hairdryer to fasten the PVA glue's drying only to have a major freaking headache the next day. But still, WOH-LAH, this is what I managed to squeezed out of me.
Four days and nights + one old DVD box + carboards + a roll of kitchen roll and toilet roll + a bottle of PVA glue + hairdryer = A model of Spongebob Squarepants.
I finished it a day before Hari Keusahawan, so I have to color it myself. Luckily for cousins who lives a few houses beside you, I managed to borrow poster colors from them. I stayed awake until four something in the morning to color it.
First result. I haven't draw in the details and it still looks weird. Oh and his bucktooth's also a little too long, so I had it shorten a little.
Just when I was about to draw in the details, I noticed something missing. What does a sponge had all over it?
That's right, HOLES!
Then it was time to draw in Spongebob's details and after half an hour of that...
Tah-dah!
I know, I know, I know what you're thinking.
'Spongebob's collar looks weird!'
'His shoes looks like shit!'
'His pants are too long!'
'His hands are retarded!'
'He is butt-ugly!'
Look pal, I don't care if it doesn't look nice. It's not like I haven't tried my best to make a model of Spongebob out. I ain't no artist to begin with anyway. So if you're going to be a bitch and insult my work, be my guest but rest assure that one word from any of you shall be returned in millions by yours' truly.
The Spongebob model caught lots of attention on that day, some people even thought that our class was selling it and wanted to buy it. XD LOL! Should've put a 'Not For Sale' sign there.
Burger was all sold out, so was the drinks. The only thing that had remainants was the hotdog, lol. Too bad they don't have a cartoon character that makes hotdog, eh? Or do they?
Anyway, Hari Keusahawan was really superbly fun. Next year, no doubt I'll return for it as a senior xD. And this time, I'll go crazy with all the games and activities that they offer on that day.
