Dad's 45th birthday

Yeah, I know it's a little TOO late for this post but hey! Better late then never, eh?

Anyway, this happened during the 3rd of March on the day of Tuesday. It was my dad's 45th birthday. I didn't knew his age at first until I asked my mom. Seriously!

But then again, from time to time my dad would even forget me and my brother's age. There's one comical scene that happened between us some time ago. It's about my brother's age and it happened last year. My brother's 12 and I was 16 that time. Here's how the scene went.

Dad: Jian, what's your age again?
Me: He's 13 this year. (LOL!)
Dad: Wha-? Really? Oh, so how many A's you got in UPSR?
Me: He haven't taken his UPSR yet.
Dad: ...

Lol, you should've seen the looks on his face. Priceless!

Anyway, the day started out pretty normal. Dad fetched me to school and I wished him after I got off the car. I planned to get him something nice for his birthday but my mom said don't have to waste too much money and I didn't know what to get for him this year either.

I asked my dad what he liked as his birthday present and he urged us to not get him anything. He doesn't mind. But being the good son that I am... *cough cough* I still think that my dad STILL deserves something.

So, after school, I headed straight away to 'King's Confectionery' and get my dad a birthday cake. That's the least I could do anyway. Then another problem hit me, what cake does my dad likes? I don't think a grown up man would enjoy colorful multiple flavors ice-cream cake, now do they? Since my dad enjoys eating chocolates and bananas, I got him the Choco-Banana cake which cost me RM33.00

I even had his name written on it. Nice, eh? =)

So after I went home, I kept the cake in a fridge and waited for my dad to come back. We went out for dinner and had western food in this restaurant called 'Rendezvous' in Taman Billion. I recommend it to you people out there who enjoys western food. The foods there are nice and their specialty, the 'Cheese Fondue' will definitely melt your cheesy heart away.

We came back and I brought out the cake and lighten it. Dad was surprised and couldn't stop smiling while we sang the birthday song.

It was a little blur but...well, it's still good enough.
My dad, cutting the cake.

My mom took the responsibility to cut and divide the cake while we enjoyed it. Couldn't get a picture of her eating her cake. DO'H!!

See? My brother enjoys the cake so much that he's giving me a thumbs-up! LOL.
Well I gotta admit, the choco-banana cake was delicious.

The night basically just ended like that. I still think that I could do more than that to celebrate my dear father's special day. Ah well, maybe I'll try again next year, if I wasn't selected for National Service that is. O_O

Well dad, Happy Birthday! =D

And thanks for all the care (and lectures...) that you gave me since the day I was breathing. I appreciated it. There is no one that could replace YOU in my heart....... 'yet'. LOL!!!

Kyle
P.S.: Dad, if you happen to see this post and wish to thank me. You can do so by teaching me how to drive. =D

All the craps that happened after the last post

Darn it, after so long. I finally get the time to blog again. Anyway, here are the followings that happened before this.

I celebrated my Dad's birthday.

Went to Bentong, Pahang, and play a friendly competition with my father's company.

There was this recent case about thievery and shits. No kidding, there ARE really shits.

I played handball under the rain.

Went for cross-country and ran under the rain and debated this morning. As well as registering for Undang.

Those are what I'm gonna post after my rest. I'm just too darn tired right now. I'll be back... whenever I'll be. So... later!

Off to bed.

Sick bastards... they'll never stop coming.

Yesterday night, I was strolling around the net to check my e-mails and what-not as usual. Then I happen to come across this e-mail by Trisha. It was entitled 'Must See!'.

Well~... Usually I would just delete the e-mail without a second thought because I would always think that those e-mails would only contains craps like 'A clown's gonna go into your bed tonight if you don't forward this e-mail to a certain amount of people' or 'Send this mail to all your contacts and if you receive back a certain amount of mail back, a miracle will happen to you tonight! You can FLY!!' those kind of rubbish mails.

No offense, people, I just don't believe in stuffs like this.

But since I was free, so I thought "Ah, what the heck?" and decided to read the mail just for kicks. The mail, shockingly, reveals an activity conducted somewhere in china. The mail was a vote mail, which requires readers to send in their names or e-mails at the end of the mail. Anyway, the mail involves the process of producing fur coats which turns out to be... well... FUCKING SICKENING!!!

Nice fur coats, eh? Wouldn't it be nice if you wore it during cold days like winter and what-not? I bet you would look classy in that, being warmed by the furs on the coat, ain't it not?

But!

Everybody, have you ever wondered what the hell you are wearing? (Don't go on telling me 'it's fur coat!' or 'it's shirt!' because I'm fully aware of that, mind you.) You, ladies and gentlemen, especially the ladies, are wearing the skins of what was once an animal.

Yes, an ANIMAL! A cute little furry animals such as raccoon dogs, dogs, cats, squirrels, bears and such.

These furs are from their skins, being used to survive the harsh weathers that mother nature has to offer. But, just for the heck of fashion, these animals' fur are being taken away from their flesh be it skinned alive or dead.

The Chinese in the video grabbed one of the animals, stomp them to the ground to break their bones, snap their necks, whack them in the head with a metal rod, crush their necks and skin them ALIVE!! Those poor animals tried to struggle but was powerless to do so.

Tears rolled down my cheeks when I watched them being skinned alive, struggling through the pain as their skin is being tore out from their flesh. Their screams broke my heart. I was speechless after I watched the video and I held back the urge to vomit as well that time.

I wonder what kind of sick bastards are those people. I mean, if they take out fur from animals that are dead, I would not mind but killing one just to get its fur? Isn't that a little too much? These sick bastards made me feel ashamed to be a human.

I...I... I just don't know how to describe it. You be the judge.

Warning: This video is not intended for people with weak hearts. Video contains scene of explicit violence and gore. Viewers are warned!

Pledge to go fur-free at PETA.org.

See how heartless and cruel these bastards can be? I'm just too furious to think straight right now.

Anyway, at the end of the mail, there's a sign thing that list the amounts of people who protested towards this crisis. I, no offense, will not write my name in it. Instead, I will post it here in my blog. I want everyone to know the bitter truth about the coat that they all fancied and I wish those of you who read this and felt the same way as I do will do the same.

SAY NO TO HEARTLESS KILLINGS!!
