Guns FTW!!!

Had to thank my uncle for bringing me and my family to the shooting range last Sunday.

AND of course, my parents for paying the administration fees. Love ya ;D

My uncle brought his and my family to a shooting club in Selangor. The club's name was Selangor Shooting Association. If you want to know about it, click here. He applied membership for all of us as a member himself.

Yeah, that's right, my 50 something year old uncle is actually a gun holding elderly man XD. Don't mess with him. He has a license to keep and wield a firearm.

Anyway, registering for the membership was a little awkward. ._.

I mean, it's been a while since I fill in forms and stuffs. So, a little weird...

First part of the form. Mistaken the nationality and sex's column.
Second part of the form. The last part of the form could be messed around, if you know what I mean. x]
*Smiles evilly*

Took a few minutes for the receptionist to register in all of our membership. Administration fee for citizen below 21 is RM100 and a fee of RM60 per year while for those who already exceeded 21, administration fees' RM1000 and the fee is... I can't remember. ANYWAY, definitely a promotion I don't want to miss.

While waiting, my uncle took me for a tour around the club. He took me to the shotgun shooting area. Saw a few old pops there laying waste to plastic dishes shot into the air with their shotguns.

Definitely a suitable retirement activity, huh Dad? ;)
The poor dishes remaining to be blown into pieces.
They shoot bottles too?

You should've seen and heard how loud those Boom-Sticks could make. Forget what you heard in TV shows or movies, an actual shotgun shooting could definitely deafen your ears. Gotta give props to the old pops.

After the registration process' done, we went and rent ourselves two guns. RM 2 for one gun, how sweet is that? Ammunition have to buy as well, I can't remember how much it cost for one box already. All I remembered was there was 50 .22 caliber bullets in it in a box. Bullets were smaller that I had expected. Even smaller than your pinkie... You know, why don't you read about it yourself? Click here.

Anyway, when I got my gun, I expected something like an ordinary handgun. You know, a Glock, Beretta, H&K, or at the very least, an officer's ordinary revolver.

When I checked my gun, I got a gun that I've never seen before. ._.

Checked it on the net, it's a Walther GSP. Uses five .22 caliber bullets per magazine. Weights around 1kg. Uses iron sights and has low recoils. Wanna read more? Read this by clicking here. ;D

Uncle then took us all to the side-arm shooting range. Lots of people there as well. Some of them brought in their own personal guns. I saw Glocks and H&Ks. Hell, I even saw someone with a frickin rifle! What the hell, man?

Another thing though, the whole arena there was REALLY loud. Who would've thought that handguns could be so darn loud? One gunshot's like BAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was someone who shot ten shots at once with their Glocks, imagine that...

My ear's already deaf by the time they shot their second shot.
After wasting one magazine, my ear drum was vibrating like hell. It was seriously VERY loud. Stole a earmuff from my dear cousin to cover my ears, leaving her eardrums exposed to the never ending gunshots that run through the air. XD

Ngek ngek ngek... x)

Anyway, we continued wasting bullets for like 2 hours or so. Shooting a gun isn't as simple as I thought it was compared to playing Time Crisis. The aiming is always off and the weight of the gun's eating my arm alive.

Remember my gun wielding uncle? He went for a round with the gun and shoot with style.

One hand in a pocket and another one with a gun and guess what was his result?

Yes, a frickin bull's eye.

Damn, my uncle's good. As expected from a man with long time membership in the club. =/ Even my cousin, who attended National Service before, isn't someone to mess with.

Feeling challenged, I focused hardly and waste another magazine. The results?

Tah-dah! =D

But half of them belonged to my cousin as well ==. At one point, he even scored a bull's eye. I forgot to take a picture, was too jealous to take one. =p

After that, it was my turn to shine. xD I tried using one hand to shot, mimicking my uncle. My result was pretty satisfying.

All of those shots belonged to yours' truly. MWUAHAHAHA!!

But my favorite shot was the last bullet I used. Just to make it more challenging, I changed the target's distance from 10m to 30m. This time, I took a longer time to take my shot.

Hell yeah! A point between 8 and 9, 30 meters away. I see some shooting potential in me. xD

Was the best day in my life so far. I finally get to shoot a real gun. >=D Hope that I could get more time to go to the club and sharpen my aimings and use a revolver or rifle some day! =D

That's all, I suppose. Signing out, right here.

Kyle
